Laingsburg students compete in the traditional homecoming event of powderpuff and powdertuff.

For homecoming week at Laingsburg High School, the tradition of the powder puff and powder tuff games continue. Powder puff is when girls play football against each other and Powder tuff is when boys play volleyball against each other. The grades compete against each other and participate in hour long practices, two weeks leading up to their game. On Monday, September 13th the powder tuff game was held. The grades all competed until the final game. The Juniors defeated the seniors and won overall. Following the powder tuff game, the powder puff game was held on Wednesday, September 15th. During this event, the seniors and sophomores beat the juniors and freshmen 20 to 12, “Even though we did not win, it was still super fun.” said Junior Haley Konieczny
